About the College






Chia-Hua Kuo, Ph.D,


Welcome to The University of Taipei College of Kinesiology. Being the leading sports science institution in Taiwan, our mission is to produce future professional leaders, who are capable to lead the trend by innovation and contribute for life quality of society. Students should not only learn professional skill and critical thinking to challenge the existing knowledge, but also gain altitude on giving a help hand for peers on the path of success. At the moment, more than 86 tenured and tenure-track faculty members teach and undertake research in the college’s 11 independent departments. The college has the largest student population at The University of Taipei, with more than 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students. It is home of education programs producing the Olympic medalists, renowned scientists and Minister of Cabinet for sports policy in Taiwan.
